ABOUT
Meet Genesa
The Mystic Psychotherapist
Hi! I’m Genesa. Many of my coworkers have lovingly referred to me as “The Woo Woo Therapist.”
I don’t mind that title, but I prefer to think of myself as a Mystic, having walked many paths as both a licensed professional holding degrees and certifications in contemplative psychotherapy, life & relationship coaching, NLP, and the Hakomi method, in addition to my own personal growth path that has taken me through training in sacred sexuality, yoga, meditation, music, plant medicine ceremony & integration, and spiritual practices.
I’ve spent my whole life on a journey to come back home to myself.
Growing up I struggled with the very painful experiences of chronic anxiety and major depression. I used to think that I wouldn’t make it to 30 years old and wasn’t sure that I wanted to.
It’s not that my life itself was THAT BAD. There was something deeper happening in me that was making it hard to breathe. I didn’t feel at home in my own body.
When I felt anxious, people would always tell me to “just be yourself,” but it took me a long time to figure out who that really was.
It wasn’t until later in adulthood that I came to understand that I was suffering from complex PTSD.
What does it mean to be yourself?
It can be hard to discern or even trust your intuition beneath all the layers of social conditioning, trauma, fear, and self-doubt.
How do you make the tough decisions, or even the tiny less consequential ones, when you can’t connect to your truth?
You may feel like an imposter in your own life.
Who are you really?
The truth of who you really are yearns to be known and to be expressed.
You may not fully know what that is yet and if you do, you may still be struggling to fully embody your truest, most powerful self.
That’s how I can help you…
The more you wake up to your true self, the more you begin to experience deeper connection, flow, balance, and ease in your life.
As a psychotherapist, coach, and intuitive healer with over 10 years of experience, I will guide you on your journey home to your deepest, most authentic expression of who you really are and how you are meant to come alive in this world.
Our work together is Sacred
It is a healing ceremony where you get to set your intentions for what you would like to release and what you would like to call into your life.
As your guide, I will help you to uncover the things that are keeping you stuck and illuminate the way to a brighter, more vibrant, and loving YOU.
Lucky for you, I’ve picked up a lot of ceremonial tools along the way and I’m not just talking about feathers, sage, and crystals, though I have plenty of that at home.
